Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer has always wanted to become an all-purpose celebrity. Growing up she was a fan of a range of genres of music, but she particularly enjoyed Afro-Caribbean rhythms like salsa, merengue and bachata, and popular music such as pop, hip-hop and R&B. Although she loved movies, the music industry also intrigued her. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer is also an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, attended for eight years at Holy Family Catholic Elementary School in The Bronx. After a four year stay and graduation, she attended Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. When she was at high school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, and played track and field and tennis. In Castle Hill, she spent her youth in a 2 story house. Jennifer quit the home of her parents at the age of 18 to go out. Lopez worked as a lawyer in that time and took dance classes at night.
