Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons - was born at Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her father was an elementary school teacher, while her mother was mother at home. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick enjoyed singing and dance and would often perform puppet shows for kids in the community. When she was just six years old, older, she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called to ask her if she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick got her first job as a leading actress in 1964. McCormick was in a commercial for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play Wind It Up And It breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1200 auditioning children to play the oldest of three double-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the TV show, she was close to losing her their virginity to brother Barry Williams.
