Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend to students and part-time work. Lennox did not feel content with her abilities compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and 1980. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they created The Eurythmics pop duo. Following that Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva that came out in 1992. Commercially and critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprised of four songs composed by Lennox. The E.P. is an accompanying piece of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You go... It is the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox started her own solo career with their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features cover versions of popular tracks like No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with six studio albums solo and one compilation.
